Principal's Background
H. Wayne Sanderson has accumulated over 30 years of business management experience while serving as a consultant to, or in senior management positions with,
both public and private companies.
He has been involved in electronic product design, manufacturing
and marketing, the wholesale distribution of industrial electronic components and systems, computer software manufacturing and
computer consulting, and consumer and industrial product sales and marketing.
He has served as corporate secretary and a member of the boards of directors of several public and private companies and nonprofit organizations. He has been a member of several Rotary Clubs and
is a past president of the Mineral Wells Rotary Club.
Mr. Sanderson was born in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Arlington State College (now the University of Texas at Arlington) with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. He also completed several courses in engineering and mathematics at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, and several postgraduate courses in advanced mathematics at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
His military service included two years of active duty as
the battalion communications and radar officer with the 2nd Target Acquisition Battalion, 26th Field Artillery, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina,
followed by four years of service with a U.S. Army Reserve unit (Quartermaster Corps) in Fort Worth and two years of inactive reserve duty, during which he achieved the rank of Captain, USAR.
